Financial Aid Scholarship Application

WCYBSA offers scholarships to help cover registration costs. Please fill out the form and email it to Amanda (awaits@fallingspringscenter.com) for review BEFORE registering your player. Scholarships are funded by WCYBSA and processed through WC Parks & Rec.

SPRING SEASON PLAYER EVALUATIONS: (allow up to 30 minutes for your child to go through evals.  Kids should bring a glove, helmet, and bat.  We will have extra gear onsite to borrow if needed.)

NEWS & UPDATES:

  • New turf fields coming to field 2 & field 7!!  Parks & Rec expects fields to be ready by May 2026.  
  • Girls' softball spring season partners with Lexington's Girls Bluegrass Fastpitch Softball.  Softball games are played at Cardinal Run Park (2000 Parkers Mill Rd, Lexington). 
  • Scott Ashburn (WC HS Softball Coach) and Katie Krumm joined our board recently to support the rec softball league.  
  • Dick's Sporting Goods coupon coming soon (20% off) for Feb 13-15th.  We'll post here and Facebook as soon as we get it.  Stay tuned! 
  • Weeballers (4yr boys & girls) are grouped together.  Season is shorter and starts later in the spring compared to older age groups.  Focus is on basic fundamentals, learning the rules and having fun.  No scored games.

PARENTS - IMPORTANT BASEBALL EQUIPMENT REMINDER:

To ensure player safety and maintain a fair game, all bats used in our recreational baseball league must have the "USA Baseball" logo on the bat.  The USA standard is designed to replicate the performance of wood bats.  USSSA and BBCOR logo bats are not allowed in league games.

(NEW) Woodford Baseball/Softball Club - Travel Ball Program

WCYBSA is excited to launch the Woodford Baseball/Softball Travel Ball Program — a unique opportunity that blends competitive travel tournaments with a fun spring rec season for the perfect balance of development.

It’s travel ball with a local heart — more competition, same community spirit.

As of August 2025, we have coaches leading 7U / 8U / 9U / 10U travel baseball teams!
